where can I find a jdm sti engine, any sites? and would a jdm sti ver 7 or ver 8 fit into my 2001 2.5rs?

 

yes...a jdm ver1-8 motor does fit in a GC, it just takes alot of prepwork as far as the wiring goes...

I've always wanted to do a swap...but i dont think i could actually go through with the entire cost of it. I paid 12k for my car...plus another 14k for me to do my car the right way (USDM STi Swap, Non-DCCD tranny, sti rear diff, all the drive train stuff basically) even though id be borrowing 14k to buy my 04/05 STi...but id want the interior of the new sti in my RS, primarily the dash and instrument panel
