im new to this forum, have u done an ej20 swap into a 93 ej18 fwd???
im thinking of running the ej20 on ej18 ecu, is that possile??

 

Hi everybody. Just wanted to add to the mix. I have a 2000 OBS with a map based EJ22. Motor is seized, and im putting a map based EJ25 sohc from a 2001 Outback into it. Im running the harness that is on the donor engine, along with the ecu from the donor engine. I spent the day today scouring thru the fsm and building a pinout diagram that Id be happy to share of the ecu connectors, along with connectors B21 and B22. 99% of B21 and B22 is the same from new engine to car. Ill have to add wires for icv, o2 sensors, air injection thingy, and something else that I cant remember offhand. If I can get a timing belt for the new motor, Im hoping to get it running tomorrow.
