Man that sounds like alot needs to be done if you want to run the stock pistons? No one here in hawaii would get even close to my short block and heads w/ a machine let alone make me up some washers. i appreciate your idea but i would say that is more for someone on the mainland not hawaii. Funny huh
I'm just gonna make this alot easier and just buy some pistons and and hopefully that cometic gasket will work just fine w/ my WRX heads and 2.2 block. i called AXIS racing w/ no call back yet (pretty busy i bet) they cell 2.2 blocks w/ CP pistons @ 8.5:1 compressions ratio and in there FAQs it says all there blocks will work w/ WRX heads.

OK, i also have a question about what i'm going to need too. I'm going from a 2.0 sti block into the usd 2.5 block with forge pistons, but the question i ask most and still can't get a definate reply is, do i need bigger injectors and a new fuel rail. The injectors i hear more people say to get is the sti 565cc injectors and probably the perrin fuel rail.
I just want to know if my ecu can manage the fuel and if the stock injectors are ok to use with the 2.5 block. I really can't afford new pistons again after this.

The block is not going tp really determine what injectors you are going to run ( kinda does) its going to determine what turbo your are running w/ this setup.
Now go start your own thread and keep this one just for the 2.2 guys who look at it in the future

Mario, I was wondering do you still have the stock ej20 short block/ Is it in good running condition.. I only ask because I have a 2004 wrx and I recently blew a rod bearring... If you do still have it, I am interested in buying it.... Please let me know as soon as you get this.. Thanks
Before you go resurrecting threads to ask the OP a specific question, check and see that they're still an active member so you don't waste your time and start a zombie apocalypse.
