svx h6 engine in a impreza?

Don't think the H-6 would fit - look how tight the EJ20/EJ25 engines fits into the Impreza. It isn't just the extra two cylinders but the accessories still have to be mounted on the front of the engine, too. The engine could not be set back further because of the AWD layout. Having additional weight forward of the front drive axles would probably make for an oversteering pig unless the car was designed for such a powerplant.
