I'm looking at snatching a wreck from japan. Before you go all ape, telling me I can't...I don't live in the US, so don't worry about that.

I was wondering what (besides the obvious) differences there are between the GC, GM, and GF? They all have the same engine code, same tranny...is there anything besides looks that make them different?

Any help would be hot. I'm about to bid on a wrecked version 6 wagon, and I just want to make sure it's going to have the same internals as a coupe/sedan.

The drivetrains are all the same. Check on which exact wRX or STi model your getting- verify this before purchase, because there are big differences between them.
