Sti engine and tranny

I have received a 2004 JDM Sti engine and transmission. I am not sure what the transmission is exactly. Also, I was wondering if I could get the engine verified also. The numbers that I found on the engine ,under the intercooler, are 68598938277 on the passenger side and 265024 on the driver side. The sticker on the transmission reads 6S-TY752VB5CA. If someone could tell me if I got ripped off. Also I received the front struts and hub assembly including the brakes and rotors and the aluminum lower arms. I need to know if these will work with my 99 RS.

The code you need to look for on the engine is EJ257. I am not sure about the transmission, but if the case is not split width wise (split across it rather then down the centerline) then you have a six speed. It there is a TCU for the DCCD then you also have the DCCD center diff.

The engine is JDM and should be a EJ207. The block does have a stamping on the to has EJ20. What would a TCU look like? The rear of the transmission, over the center diff, has a rectangular shaped housing built into it with wires coming out of it to a 6 pin connector.

still looking for engine numbers

I still haven't found the engine code, my tranny is STI-R & RA Ver.III/IV MY 97/98.
I have looked on the bottom of the engine block and heads can not find any numbers. Looking again tonight.
