I'v searched the forum, looks like every one asked different question. Could any one get a complete instruction of how to get the RWD conversion done? Anything need to remove, upgrade, etc.???

You can weld the center diff, but that doesnt technically make your car RWD since you would have to take out the front axles. what you can do is get a full replacement center diff that costs about $700 and about 2 hours of labor time and get a new center diff piece where it only drives the rear of the car. If you want more info, just PM me or give me a call at the shop.

OR.... you can just PM me...and search my threads for one called.... DB TUNED?

you pull the center diff. weld it up. and then you have a RWD trans. you can just leave the front axles in, because if you dont, you will have wheel bearing issues. they will just float in there. they wont be driven by the transmission. you will have a 'real' RWD trans after installing the welded center diff, the crazy expensive aftermarket center diffs are WORTHLESS....Unless you cant weld/dont have a welding shop by you.

you will most likely blow up your rear end after converting to RWD. FYI!

/rant... PM me for any more info you are looking for

If you weld up the center diff you will have fully locked AWD unless you remove the front axles. But you will need to take the outer joints of the axles and bolt them in the front hubs so the wheel bearings will be held together.
I did this once to race an Impreza in the bumblebee class at the local circle track and it had to be 2wd per the rules

you are incorrect. thank you for spreading mis-information.

i shall rename you... "Miss Information" shall be your new name.

please read about the welding of the center diff before posting (mis) informative things like you did.

kthxbye
