What all does this happy ending consist of? I'll be using paul to tune the minitruck when its done...

thanks for the love on the center diff. its easy, just have to clean it up reallllllll well or else...it just turns out crappy.

---
since the pics the truck has gotten
-new rims for daily driving
-shaved handles and gas cap
-tint
and...yea.. thats about it.
ha!

the swap will be smog legal and everything.
Plus it will be tuned by Paul, not to mention WHORED out by all the wonderful shops that are in on the project.

How do you plan to get it legalized?

Engine swaps are only legal within the same class of vehicle in CA. Car to light truck is not the same vehicle class. According to the law, the engine/driveline have to come from the same vehicle as well.

nope, not at all.
if need be i'll change out the block to get the sticker.(baja? forester? b9?)

vanagon guys put these in the van. apparently i was now wrong it stating that i'll have this done perfect for smog.

The Baja is a Specialty Truck, while the Forester is a car. And going to another state, like Nevada, is the far easier solution. Hell, you can pass NV Smog without cats if you have OBDII. :rotfl:
