JDM WRX long block swap

I have a 00RS and want to do a swap to a JDM ver3 STI longblock. the only thing i am worried about is the fitment and the wiring harness. It says it comes with the ECU and a wiring haress..will this be just plug and play or will there be 30-40 man hrs. wiring the thing together? This is what I am afraid of....any feedback would be helpful and appreciated....thanks

Oh yea you will be stuck with more wiring and soldering than you'll ever want to do. If you find an experienced person at this it shouldnt take too long, other wise it will be very time consuming.

man i want to avoid all that wiring and soldering. i might just stick to a turbo kit and eventually upgrade to an STI block. My car has 130k on it should i swap the block over first or get a turbo kit first? i cannot buy the two at the same time cause i'm pretty broke. another issue with this route is that i am afraid my tranny wont be able to withhold the power( boostong only around 14PSI).
