Impreza rs sti swap

hey guys,
just bought a 2005 rs and i am loving it, lol but one of the guys has a sti ... wow.. just wondering how much for the ej25t i know it will cost about 8000 but i dont care... its going to be done this winter, how long will it take to swap.. what will i will and where do i find this ?

We bought a full car from the local shop, Vakamon. I think total for the wrecked STi was around $7k with something like $3k for labor. Ours was a GC8 swap though, so the GDB swap should be cheaper labor wise (I think..) Good luck with your swap.

why would you want to do that? a new RS and pull out a perfectly good motor. jsut trade it in for an STi....

its well worth it though. not many people do it and the sti swap is getting a little overrated, even though it is straight baller and faster than heck, an all motor would be cool because it is so uncommon if you want a sleeper and stock looking job.

you said "i know it will cost about 8000 but i dont care..." so why in the heck didn't you just buy a sti in the first place? i agree with the others just trade it in
