how to swap your 99rs wiring to a 02 wrx

how to swap your 99rs wiring to a 02 wrx
first start with a nice 99 rs
then begin to remove dash and hvac
(the easy part)
then remove engine harness from 02 wrx harness. you can remove this harness
all the way to the ecm. you will have 5 wires that you will have to cut. YL,BR,GR,WG,and GB
also you will take the section that goes through fire wall to maf.
the next photos will show both harnesses at the ecm plugs. the upper harness is the rs harness.
you will then remove the engine harness from the rs harness. when i say engine harness i mean from the brown and gray engine plugs to the ecm.
then you are ready to start mating them together. you will have about 50 or so wires to figure out. (this is a little tricky)
now that you have completed your harness , you are ready!
i like to install the harness , the cover and tape. it seems easier to fit
my dog even got tired watching.
and then a shot of the wrx ecm in place!
gravy!!!! go on out and start swapping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

subscribed too. So what i understand is that you only merged the engine harness, everything else is 2.5rs harness? For the engine harness, everything that plugs to the wrx ECU is the wrx connector, and everything behind that is 2.5rs wire. Even I'm confusing myself now.
