cross member

To drop in an sti motor I know I will need a different crossmember since it of course will be boosted. Will the sti crossmember solve this and bolt into where my stock L cross member is?

Car Info: Blown Transmissions

You can use the USDM WRX or STi X-member, but you will have to shim your control arms. The only direct bolt-on x-members are the true GC8 ones and the USDM Legacy turbo ones

You could also just cut out a notch in your stock x member.. Which is what I did.

All it does it make room for the up pipe.
