Isn't the 04 a 2.0 and the 06 is a 2.5? i'd imagine they'd be different, probably better flow for the bigger engine. But i don't think they'd bolt up to a 2.0... i could be wrong.

06 WRX exhaust manifold, which is different from a manifold by the way, are not the same as any previous year.
Not sure if 04-07 STI manifolds are the same, or if they are the same as the previous WRX manifolds, but I know that they are not the same for 06.
