Is this feasable?
the time has come for me to start really upgrading my car, and i have an idea. for those who think this is stupid, i think outside the box....
i have a GC sedan with a 1.8l and FWD 4EAT. i want to put in a EJ25, and im reluctant to go turbo. i want to make it into a manual, but i dont want to give up my FWD ( like i said, outside the box ). im thinking a EJ25, maybe bored out ( using the Axis 2.6 and 2.8 blocks as an example of displacement ) and a FWD 5 speed with RA gears......
anybody think this is feasable? i do not need more than 200 hp, and the EJ25 will only recieve a few mods......
is it possible ( although im reluctant ) to go with a EJ22T ( 160 hp ) or a EJ20T ( 227 hp ) with this tranny setup?

Bump for Wally!
I don't see how this would not work. So pretty much what you want to know is if the RA gears will fit in your transmission case? Because I'm pretty sure the engine will.
Have you thought about RWD?

dude, I would definetely go with the rwd, especially in a GC sedan, I drive a GC wagon and love it, I actually prefer the GC over the GDB. My swap is going to the JDM WRX from a GC8 model, it is fairly easy except for the wiring harness, because it is a direct bolt. and lots of power.
