what controlls the DCCD? another ecu or the engine ECU

Fronts you can. Direct bolt in. Rears you can, mechanically, but your diff (stock R160) would need to be modded. You will need to swap the ring and pinion gears to be 3.9.

you will need the STi driveshaft , rear hubs, Knuckles, and axles...if you use the STi diff, otherwise do what Alex said much cheaper and more pratical
