I have a 98 impreza RS automatic I want to make it into a 5speed what parts would I need and what year tranny would work if a 98 isn't available? And what all would be needed to do so?

 

use a 99 or later 5 spd. would need cross member , drive line , rear diff, (one that would match trans), shifter, pedal bracket, and a weekend of fun!
will need a clutch and what not. im sure there will be more than what i have listed. the best way is to just do . you will learn what else you will need.

 

and ECU and wiring if there is any.
