Im thinking of buying a 1998 2.5 RS and wonder what exactally is involved and needed to swap the front bumper for the better looking 99 + RS front bumper. How much does something like this cost?

 

The swap is direct, you only pay for the part, labor and paint - the neighborhood of around $600

 

or DIY and around 200 for bumper from dealership 50 for paint= 200-300,

or buy used anywhere from 100 - 200, if you lucky no painting

 

umm.. wow okay.. you need to buy the 99+ bumper reinforcement bar for the bumper to fit properly, unless you want to hack away at your stock one. then you'd buy the bumper of course, then you'd need to find turn signals, folights/brackets, little orange vent things.. and then paint/install it

total project should be around 6-900
