Im about to embark on this swap, and I'll be doing it myself, with the help of a sturdy friend here and there to assist me.

the 6mt
shift linkage + ****
3.9 Ring and pinion
auto driveshaft
6mt clutch
I have a decent amount of tools, but I was wondering if I'll need air tools to do this?
Will my flywheel definitely need to be resurfaced or will I have to wait and see what it looks like once I have it off, since I am putting a "used" clutch in it.
Can I use a USDM sti 6mt throw out bearing for replacement?
Lastly, is there a transmission shop that anyone knows of in the CT area that could swap my ring and pinion in about 2 days time? everyone I call says they have the american adapters, but "think" they could do an import one.

definitely not, I know GEM sells an aftermarket controller now, but they want $1500. Unfortunately, Im still recovering financially from the purchase of the tranny alone. so I'll be leaving it disconnected for now and running 60/40 until I can.
