Well, I wanted to upgrade to one of the newer subarus - but they just are not offering the Legacy wagon with a manual transmission and a decent engine anymore - So, I'm now starting to think about keeping my '00 GT and spending some money on that instead. What are some options for my GT? I was thinking of an USDM STI engine / 6spd transmission - Something that will put a nice smile on my face. Does that need custom fabrication or can off the shelf parts and work? I'd like to bounce some ideas of somebody and get a really good idea as to what is involved so if there is anybody who's out there that has done something like this, please contact me.

Good luck, a 2000 Legacy with an STi drive train would definately be an evil creation.
