what do i need to swap my '01 rs to a 5-spd? i want to use a fxt trans to keep my 4.44 diff ratio. is there a lot of wiring?

 

you will need the basics clutch,flywheel,manual drive shaft(its shorter),pedal set,clutch master and slave,shifter assem ect. as for wiring not to sure i did a whole swap so i have wire the hell out of stuff anyway
i will tell you that there are 2 white w/red wires in the harness that go to the trans you will need to connect those together( they connect together when the car is in park or neutral and go to the starter),and on the steering column there is a 2 pin harness one wire was black and i forgot the other color but you need to apply 12v to the black wire to get your key out of the ign its so you cant take the key out without the car in park
