or we can not take a defensive tone, when i was merely suggesting things that others, have said to me after talking about the meets.

And as i said in original post this wasnt to offend anyone it was just spark new ideas. And yes ryan they are monthly meets when the meet i was talking about is the monthly meet the last sat of every month.

And yes as i said earlier parking was good this time, but i doubt it will be as smooth at 9 pm on a sat night when the meet get changed to that time.

I was just trying to suggest other things. If everyone wants to keep it the way it is then cool. Ill be looking forward to some of the other meets that go on.

Again i am not being hostile about this, was just something that i have seen work very well for other car meets

A couple months ago I got the idea of having a bbq from a friend who's really big in the low rider life style. They get together in a different location every month, from LA to the bay area picking up cars along the way, all caravaning together.

I thought this kind of unity and tradition was really great, gives people, like you had said, the opportunity to come together, really get to know each other and have a b*tch'n good time.

The low rider guys, and other car cluds, weather they'r all Honda, Subie, Mitsubishi, or whatever, get together and plan things all through out the month, and we've been doing a really great job at doing the same.

However I would like to be planning bigger events, such as meets with other Subie crews in other locations, track days, drive trips, keep up on the bbqs, just more things to make our clan bigger and stronger, not just a trend but a tradition and a car life style.

Thats all i was trying to say really. But figured what better event then our staple event. (monthly sat meets). We all love our cars, and like to hang out with other people that have the same interests. So the meets are a good idea, But now that we have a more regular group of people that come, just found it getting a little on the boring side when were all standing in a parking lot, talking about the same stuff we do every time.. lol I dont know.

Anyway im not going to say anymore because i believe people are taking my intentions wrong and what im saying wrong.

You'll probably see me trying to organize a bbq sometime soon. I would like to pull in some people from sacforcedfed, because there a good bunch of guys, and i think its fun from time to time to see what our (suby's) competition is out there, and just to see what kinda mods people do to non suby's

so are we saying more meets at other places or different types of current meets... I'm confused. We have talked about having more meets in modesto... like the second week of each month somewhere in modesto. I would definately go to more meets and I think that 2 a month is perfect for now.

Maybe not increasing the amount of meets in our area per month, maybe more along the lines of building up our numbers in the Subie comunity in other locations, perhaps randomly taking a trip to the bay and chill with thore guys for a meet, meeting new people, getting new ideas. You know that sort of thing. As for our area twice a week will be plenty.
