Monthly suby meets!

Monthly suby meets!
First off, great turn out on the last meet! first meet i have been to where we were able to fill that hole entire side of the parking lot.
But enough on that, what i wanted to bring up is changing up the meets! Although the last meet had a great turn out, IMO it was the exact same as every single meet i have been to, and frankly its getting more and more boring to go to! This is not ment to offend anyone, or down talk the suby meets. Im simply bringing this up, so that maybe we can come up with something a little better, and not just a stand around the parking lot in our little clicks.
Maybe there is a restaurant, like a pizza parlor we can talk to or something, that has a big room that we can hold every last sat of the month. Then everyone can bring some money to pitch in to get some pizza's sit around and talk with eachother, rather than standing in a parking lot next the same people you hang out with everyday.
I think something like this would just give more opportunity for people to get to know eachother better, and just a better environment to socialize in.
I have been to a couple sacforcefed.com meets when i lived up there, and they have a successfully meet every week, at a round table that they always go to. And the thing thats cool is it seems that everyone knows eachother on a more personal basis, and not just by what car they have, or by what mods they have done to there car. I do understand that this is a suby meet, and its ment to be circled around the cars, but its also about just being a subaru lover!
I think if we can organize these a little better and make them a little more exciting to be at, we might open up the possibilities for more people showing up, and possible organizing track days and stuff like that in the future, who knows..

Well what me jordan and brian did a couple times was hit up McHenry for some food and then meet up with some people and then all cruise over and hit up the meet in Turlock.
There's also been 2 BBQ events these last couple months that have been a success along with a few trips to Applebees in Turlock.

we missed u lol.. but we saw plenty of ur car lol...
it could work.. but i like the fact that we arent confined at the In-and-Out meets.. its outside.. fresh air is always nice after driving all the way there lol

we should setup a real track day soon... id like to see how well my rear sway bar helped.. and i may be getting some coilovers here soon... we will see...

I just dont see the point in having a meet to drive to a meet! If everyone is fine with standing outside in and out for hours, its all good. Was just trying to bring other suggestions to the board.. If the bbq's turn out good then why not do that every month? and meet somewhere, that isnt such a cluster fizuck of cars and trying to find close together parking?

lol. Would you rather sit at InNOut? We've had like 7 meets within the last couple months, so it's not a monthly thing at all. I think parking was very smooth considering that there were 24 of us there.
