ya that's why you MIGHT make .5hp to the crank from a turbo inlet and this is why I didn't make jack off mine, is because im running a blow thru.

are you kidding, you are complaining about 1k on a full vf setup, you have to be kidding me. Dude, you can get a VF setup used for cheaper than that and even then, 1k is VERY good for that price. Even if you bought some used headers, you are still spending about 300 and then on top of that you would spend about 100 used for a turbo inlet and then a tune. You might as well fork out another 500 and go VF, oh soo much to learn...

well that 500 i can use for rally rims, and then buy tires for 200... ill be much faster with my idea than with a vf turbo..

in rally its all about a grip to power ratio..

and right now im on M+S tires.. gunna get snow tires soon, but i'd rather save than 500 for rims than a vf turbo setup...

No problem, I wish I could help on the rally part, honestly I would start from stock motor(or with what you have already) and then go for suspension, tires, wheels and learn with that and compete and then go with some more torque where needed.

i love my michelin ice&snows, i picked them up from tirerack, check them regularly, they always have deals on winter tires. I love mine so far and have been through about 3 seasons already and stick pretty well.
