Clay bar = awsome!

finally got around to clay barN the whole car today and look at how much crap was on top of the paintS finish!

maybe my vision is to good but i can see the difference

Wow, ive never clay bar'd, hell i havent touched my bugeye with a coat of wax since i got it, and it probably wasnt waxed for the year before that either, sister didnt know how to wax. So who's willin to help me get her cleaned up and waxed since i have next to no skill with auto detailing?

I did mine for the second time a week or so ago. It does wonders!! I do it every summer.

i started at 1130 and just now got done

wash/clay bar/ wax/vacuum/trim conditioner awh! now the car can sleep... fresh and clean

no skill needed... just wash with a good quailty car soap then after that

all you need is this

spray the panel your working on with the spray and rub the clay bar back and forth untill the finish feels smooth as glass... when the bar becomes flat ned it into a ball then into a twinky AND DONT DROP IT on the floor... if you drop it throw it way! last thing you need is to pick up sand and scratch your finish

then apply the wax that comes with the kit with this



let the wax haze and dry and remove it with this


MICRO fiber towels

i like to stay with either mothers or meguiars products since both do a awesome job and are easy to apply and remove

OP you should use paint cleaner right after the clay bar and then wax it. clay bar doesn't remove stains and other crap like paint cleaner does. clay bar only picks up crap that protrudes off the surface. plus the paint cleaner will also remove any left over clay that wasn't wiped off. Your car will look ten times better if you use it.
