wait, you're the sibling of an SJ CHP and you're in the academy and I'd STILL didnt let you to unpunished for breaking the law? :shakeshead: What is this world coming to?

Such a shame when someone deserving of a ticket actually gets a ticket. Here's an idea, be a man and take care of the ticket the honest way, pay it. Dont puss out and have your bro sign off on it. If your bro is a CHP and you're in training, shouldn't you help support the CHP by paying your deserved fine?

It's the end of the month and they have to meet their "quota's" oh wait they don't have quota's, quota's are illegal, they're called "recommended number of tickets to be written" or else they get yelled at by the Chief. All in all it's BS but you guys HAVE to be careful every last week or so of the month.

Yes. I know people in Law Enforcement, it's one of those things that doesn't have to be done but if you don't then you can get written up and or yelled at. It's total BS. That's why they write a lot of BS tickets cuz they still count towards their total number of tickets wrote in a month.

something to remember... the the chp doesnt make any money for the tickets they write, it would be a conflict of interest. The CHP makes their money through CA registration funds. So you can almost bet that when they catch you with expired reg. theyll prolly site you. I dropped out of the academy a few months ago (didnt want to be a public servent) and I traded my car for an 06 STi today so I'll have him sign it off because it's easy.

actually car stops are one of the more dangerous encounters a cop can have. So, if the windows are tinted it makes the car stop that much more dangerous for the officer. the cop wants to be able to see inside the vehicle obviously for his/her safety.

Yep yep. I didnt get it when I first got pulled over a long time ago then one cop pulled me over (the next week) and explained about how he has no idea if I have a gun or what not.

I had 30% on my 2000 civic hatch a while back. Never pulled over for tint in about a year, then like 3 times in 2 weeks. The last time was a ticket so yea.
