Posting this for a person I just spoke with....

Santa Cruz Subaru unfortunately had a problem and this guys car and screwed the short block. SOA is screwing this guy over. Dealership basically took majority of the responsibility for the engine, but SOA will only offer the owner $1000 off the price of a new Subaru....

Thought I would help him out by posting here on i-club. Christo seems like a very nice person, owns the car and can give more details. Non raced vehicle and a good price for a car that can be saved.

Poor guy is getting the screw job and is now trying to sue the dealership. Can't believe SOA is blowing him off this way.

 

Does it have to be automatic? How about a manual??? I was tossing around the idea of letting mine go recently.
