2003 Subaru WRX, 89k miles. $4,000.

I am selling my 2003 Subaru WRX with 89,555 miles and significant body damage to the driver's side.

What Happened:

I was tracking the car at Infineon in February, lost traction in turn #8 and impacted the wall doing about 60 mph.

Damage:

Mechanically, the car is fine. I drove it off the track and back home on the freeway with no issues. Had it inspected by my mechanic. Control arms are not bent, but rear driver-side strut is slightly bent, resulting in slightly out-of-spec camber. I have a replacement strut that I have not yet installed. Other than that, mechanically, the car is flawless.

Cosmetically, it is pretty bad. The front bumper, front fender, both doors, side skirt, rear bumper, and rear shell are all dented. Windows and doors open and close fine. Hood is not dented or bent. I have a replacement fender that has not been installed yet.

I am the second owner. Purchased in April 2005 with 18,000 miles on the odometer.

Maintenance Items:

4 new tires (Hankook Ventus R-S2 205/55ZR-16) installed July 2009
4 new brake pads (Axxis Ultimates) installed July 2009
30k mile maintenance and 60k mile maintenance performed at Auto Headquarter in Redwood City
I've preferred to use synthetic oil in this car.
Replaced clutch and flywheel at around 70k miles

Modifications:

1. Body-colored (silver) side skirts instead of black plastic.
2. Tinted windows. All windows (except windshield) were tinted by the original owner.
3. Bosal shorty down-pipe.
4. Invidia up-pipe.

These two pieces are the only changes to the exhaust system. One catalytic converter remains in the system, and the car passes California emissions just fine. It was most recently tested when I moved to California a year and a half ago.

5. ProDrive EBCS.
6. Cobb sway bars.
7. Polyurethane steering rack bushings.
8. AccessPort (version 1) with pro-tune by EQ Tuning. Dyno'd 260 bhp. Pulls hard and smooth.
9. Group-N engine mounts.
10. SS brake lines, Axxis Ultimate pads. Solid pedal feel, quick stops, and no fading.

Problems:

The car uses about a quart of oil and some coolant in between oil changes due to a tired turbo.

Overall:

I love this car. I get around 22-23 MPG around town, drives smooth, everything works as advertised. Selling it because I just bought a new car, don't need it anymore, and don't want to deal with repairing the body damage.
