I have a 2005 World Rally Blue Subaru WRX STI. It is the same color scheme as the car Petter Solberg drives in the WRC. It has gold BBS 17" rims with a softer then stock rubber compound tire for stickier traction in the turns. This car is stock except for few things. It has a oil catch can mounted in the engine bay. The catch can removes and stores all oil vapor expelled by the turbo charged motor before it can harm the motor..Turbo charged engines are prone to the accumulation of an oil sludge mixture inside the intake manifold. Having the oil within the intake system can lower the octane rating of your fuel and create carbon and oil sludge buildup in your system.It also has a hi-performance ground wire kit..It stabilizes the engine, quicker throttle response, increases horsepower by 5-8.,The brake pads have been replaced by Hawk pads for faster stops. There is an A -pillar gauge pod that's has 3 gauges. I only have the turbo boost hooked up as of now. The other gauges read the air/fuel mixture and exhaust temperature. Some of the stock item from Subaru are, Short Throw shifter, STI floor mats and extended center arm rest. I did a trunk swap with a guy that had a stock wrx trunk with no wing..I also took off all of the STI badges and stickers. This thing looks like a wrx to every other guy on the streets..I had the back windows limo tinted and the front windows with a very light tint. Looks awesome...It has 21,000 miles on the car. The motor oil has been changed every 3000 miles with mobil 1 full synthetic oil. I am 42 years old and have driven this car with respect...No 4000 RPM clutch drops.
