2004 Subaru STI Java Black
I purchased this car from Insurance Auto Auctions and planned on keeping it but now need to sell because I'm moving to Nevada and cannot afford to keep this.
This car WILL HAVE A REBUILT TITLE. It was at THEFT RECOVERY and I will not have the title available until early to mid December. I can sell it with the Bill of SALE signed off by the insurance company (this is verifiable) or you can wait until I'm done getting it inspected and get the title back from Washington. I've got and appt with the Washington State Police to get the car inspected on November 22nd, once that part is done it will be another 2-3 weeks to get the title back from Washington.
The car was missing the cluster, interior (door panels, seats, carpet), wheels, brakes, lights and a few other small things. I've basically found all the 2004 model STI items and put it together.
It still needs a few things to be finished:
Hood Scoop
Rear wing or new trunk lid - this one is dented and missing the wing.
New front/rear bumper cover - it has the original ones but they are beat up and need painted.
The front fenders have a small little dent around the bumper cover area where the thieves tried to pry the front bumper cover off. There are also a couple of minor door dings (dent wizard).
Basically the main body of the car is in pretty good shape but it needs some paint work - the car has the original paint but just needs some things repainted. I've put a new used cluster in it but the mileage does not reflect actual. The car runs and drives excellent - I just had it aligned and installed new Poltec Lateral Links/End links ($800). I'm estimating the car had under 15k on it originally as the motor and underneath are very clean.
This car would be a cheap way for someone to get into an STI for much less or great as an autox vehicle as is. I'm only asking what I'm into it not including my time or labor. I need to sell.
