1999 Subaru Impreza RS
The time has come to sell my Subaru. I have owned this car for 10 years. I am pretty religious about maintenance so many of the things have been addressed and taken care of.
Pretty much stock.
5 Speed
Power Steering, Locks, Windows.
100k Miles - Will go up since daily driver (Just changed the oil) Mobil 1 Syn always used
Clean interior. No rips, stains, or tears.
Yokohama Advan Tires 60% life left.
Kartboy Shortshifter
JVC Headunit with Infiniti Kappa Speakers. MP3 and iPhone Hookup.
JDM Tailights & Clears throughout.
Sylvania Bulbs (Forgot which ones but they are the top model)
Class 1 hitch - Used for my Bike rack and small trailer once in a while.
Clean Title (I have Carfax)
No Check Engine lights.
Inspection good till 12-2014
Maintenance
New Paint Last Sept. Had minor wheel well rust in the rear quarters. Taken care of when I resprayed the whole car.
Oil changed every 5k with Mobil one Syn. (Most of the time I would do the oil change myself. I Have a UOA I just have to find it from Blackstone Labs)
60k Timing Belt, Water Pump Replaced. (Premature I know. I have the old timing belt and water pump for proof of the job)
75k Replaced Greddy Exhaust with Stock one again. Catalytic converter has 50-60k miles tops.
80k Replaced coil overs with Stock Shocks. KYB in front and stock in rear. They prob have 50k total. New Radiator.
90k Head Gasket Replaced, Steering Rack Replaced, New OEM Air Filter. Second Air Filter is K&N.
95k Alternator and Battery Replaced. New Bosch Plugs and Wires. New Weather Stripping on on Driver and Passenger side.
100k Pilot bearing replaced. Clutch greased and maintained. Original clutch in great shape and grabs well. I feather the thing.
The only receipt I have is for only the pilot bearing done recently. I threw out the other receipts. I figured I was going to keep the car forever. The car speaks for itself. Come check it out.
Cons
Passenger side door sometimes takes 2-3 times to close properly. I had it greased. Helped but still gets stuck sometimes. Always ends up closing tho.
While parking slowly sometimes front shocks fidget. I would have to show you. Never a problem for me. But it is there.
Driver side Roof Molding Flew off on 287. I have the Clips from Subaru to replace it just not the molding itself. Clips were not cheap and are original OEM.
Driver side rear tire has patched sidewall. Ive driven on it for about 1500 miles no issues. You can replace if you like.
I just feel like I need something different. Plus I need a 4 door auto for work.
I am looking for 7k. I think this is a very fair price from the condition and work done to the vehicle.
I can show the car Mon-Fri between 10-2 pm. Weekends after noon.
