Would you purchse a preowned vehicle with out seeing or driving it first? If you were looking for a specific vehicle that very few were located in your area.

 

I have.

I bought my 2001 2.5 RS, but the seller had taken hundreds of photos and had provided me all of his service records. He was very thorough which gave me a tremendous peace of mind.

I've had the car for over a year and it is still pretty much perfect.

 

I bought my 04 WRX that way....I live in Cali...and I had it shipped from Massachusetts. I had an independent inspection service check it out though, and they test drove it for me.

You shouldn't buy ANY car, be it used, or new without at least a test drive...

 

the guy who bought my car just bought it from Las vegas from just pics and no inspection, just had it picked up from his dad. 88 starion turbo. he paid 4g's for it with tranny problems among other things. suppositely he says he needs a new motor now and is pissed but its not my problem. I didn't have too much idea either, it had some problems but i listed the major ones and hey, I lucked out with the buyer I guess.

 

Theres a risk in buying a car without seeing it in person or driving it. Small blemishes can be hard to pick up in pictures and there could be other hidden problems.
