A funny (yet kinda sad) story about "bling",

A family member works as a Cousalor at the local public school system (DPS) and he was telling me about this little boy who he had come in to talk to him.

So he was talking to the kid (from a very tough family...seperated constantly fighting parents in a bad neighborhood) about his family and he asked how things were going and the kid said "not so well lately" and so he asked why? The kid said "well we used to have a really good steak dinner at my grandpa's every sunday but now we only eat salad" Well shocked he asked why that was. The little kid said "Well my grandpa bought a escalade with almost all of his money and but big chrome wheels and such on it. But then he didnt like the leather in the interior so he payed to have the entire interior ripped out and replaced with that alencantra (sp?) stuff that is in Audi's, so after that he didnt have any money to have steak dinners"

Is that crazy!?!? Very sad that anybody would do that but still crazy
