Question Is the WRX every ricers next car?

I see WRX's all over every magazine. From the Cosmo, to stuff, and every car magazine I have picked up in the last 3 months, and its getting worse.

Today i got my SCC magazine and there where like 4 articles that had to do with the WRX, not to mention the growing # of ads that feature a WRX. SCC even resorted to bagging on a Honda, (the new Acura TSX) and it was the last article. That would have never happened 3 months ago, especially not behind the project cars article.

At this rate be prepared to see more and more WRX's ridiculously fixed up with neon lights, tips, bondo and everything else you see on those ghetto a_s Hondas on the streets.

Is this bad? I think so. I got a Subaru to escape from all the ricers out there.

and please Feel free to kick me in the junk if I’m over reacting.

a lot of ricers can't afford a wrx, which is good, but there will always be ricers for every vehicle out there

I was in kragen today and noticed a ricey orange WRX on the box for "driving lights". I looked closely at the picture, and there was just the stock fog lights. Is it just me, or is it stupid to put a car without the product on the packaging?

true for now. few more years later when the wrx used car market really opens up. more people could afford wrx (used).
