I used to park far away and come back only to find someone with a nice car is parked next to me. It used to upset me 'til I realized that they know that I am less likely to ding their car because I keep my bug-eye washed and shined almost all the time. Now I look for the nice cars parked far away myself.

But if i was building a race car or street /race car it would have to be a Honda. My oldest sons (which I built last year in my back yard) Hatch ran 11.32 this year at English town race way in N.J. I would Have to invest another 5 grand in addition to the 5 grand I already have invested to run those numbers.

That's absurd. No disrespect to Hondas as they make great racecars, but you said it would HAVE to be a Honda?

If I were building a full blown racecar I could give a flying F**k as to what chassis I started out with (if you look at the JGTC cars, they only share the firewalls with the factory car!), which is the main reason I don't give the fact that there are a lot of great Honda racecars around to be a credit towards the Honda brand.

When you are that far out of factory spec, it's down to your engineering skills to build the better car and it's as simple as that.
