Agreed again. IIRC, Hemis still use pushrods...time to step into the next generation of technology...

what? Find me a car that can accelerate with a cobra 428, or try the L88 vete. Oh yeah there was that GT40 car as well. The engins may be simple but still kick out the horses. In addition to that, can you get 5000 horsepower out of any euro motor. Mopar definatly does, it's called drag raceing, heard of that? It seems like those low tech motors propell cars to 330 mph in 4 secs. Not bad if you ask me.

drag racing is great, but turning the wheel now and then doesnt hurt and in my opinion is more entertaining. that being said, I do have a lot of respect for muscle cars, but I think the new hemi trucks are more marketing the nostalgia then anything else.

I'll give you all the fact that the premise behind the v8 is dated, but low tech, no. Don't get me wrong however, I find much pride in beating 5 liter mustangs with my 2 liter rex. One thing you can't replace however, the street cruz factor. There was just something about cruzing my 67 camero, the cam lobe twisting the car with every rev, then hitting the peddal to light up the hides. you have to peel them off a 2.5TS? sorry dude, but there are more attractive cars out there. Not trying to bash or anything, but the attractive part of subarus is not its body. "The Beauty of AWD"
