Exclamation VF23 vs VF39 turbos

Hi guys ( and girls)...... here's my problem , I wanted to up grade my sons car he has 2002 wrx stock, I have a spare set of headers down pipe up pipe , full exhaust ,fuel rails and STI pink injectors, looking for a front mount to replace damaged APS intercooler(I have all the other parts). Which Turbo would you say would best fit an every day driver. VF39 or a VF23 that was ported and polished. I used the 23 in autocrossing several years ago and it was not bad. The car was not driven that much on the streets or highway so I can't really tell how it would do on the streets.I also have the ECU that was tuned by ECUTEK for that set up. I never had a chance to drive a car with a VF39 with the same set up so I can not compare the two. Please comments. I wanted to do all this by the week end.

I have both these turbo sitting around doing nothing, I was thinking of selling them on E bay but my son decided he wanted to stop getting dusted by my older sons RSX so I need something thats an all around upgrade from a stock car with an access port.

The VF22 is a great turbo for the 2.0L.
