I paid for a camaro in 2 check payments, checks cleared, and i got the car in my possesion and keys. Car got towed, and sitting on my property. Well couple days later i go and call her to let her know im coming for the title, and her # has been changed. To my good luck operator, gives me the new #, so i call it, and son answers, ask for the lady and says "No" and hangs up. I get suspicious and i drive down there, and son doesnt want to answer the door. Called the cops, and they said it was a civil matter, so they wont help me or even file a report. They told me to hire private investigator. Called the MVD(DMV) closed Sat., due to the 3 day holiday. So story brings me here, im really dying to know what i should do or can do. If anyone knows or even been in this situation please let me know how to approach this, thank you. I will see what a PI can do for me for no charge. But Please anyone, thanx again.
