v8 Toureg

Man i test drove one of these last weekend and damn there sweet. Base price of 43k so kind of expensive but they haul *** and look similar to the Porche. Anyone have any opinions?

touregs look better than cayennes imo.

although nice, it's a gas hog. makes a forester xt gas consumption rating look not so bad...

I'd rather drive a "real" mini-van equipped with awd than any of these "poser" yuppie mini-vans masquerading as off road vehicles. Sure the Tourag is more capable of going off road than some of the other poser mini vans, but it is just as unlikely to see anything more severe than a dirt road as all the other ones.

If I needed something for off-road, why would I spend $40+ thousand? In my off road vehicle, I want the first dent I put in it to be "just another dent".

I agree with BlingBlingBlue in most cases... though in my familys case we have a big SUV but we mainly just use it for going to the mountains and stuff like that. Its just stupid to waste that much gas around town.
