A trick for getting better millage?
I came across this last night. Has anyone ever heard about, or tried this???
Im going to try this in my Mazda 3 before I get it anywhere near the Subaru!
Acetone In Fuel Said to Increase Mileage
Readily-available chemical added to gas tank in small proportion improves the fuel's ability to vaporize completely by reducing the surface tension that inhibits vaporization of some fuel droplets.

I've used most of the Solvents-toluene, xylene, and others... they don't change the gas millage (at least for me), they do however increase boost. I don't know the long term effects on the engines, but they do burn cleaner than gas and provide more octane. And if you are trying to save money have you looked at the cost of a gallon of the solvent? you're better off buying gas, it's much cheaper.

So I guess he is right cause when I use Valero in my durango I get much worse millage as compared to using shell in my Mazda 3
That article also didn't mention a single definitive reason why acetone would not work, other than it cannot be replicated in a lab, gee I wonder why? There's a reason Exxon makes $80 billion a quarter, and its the same reason we don't have electric cars in dealers anymore. BTW gas is also a solvent.
