cool air is more dense and more power can be made.

could be a reason you think it is the throttle response

a/c causes greater parasitic loses, which is more noticeable on some cars and less on others, but it's probably just the temperature. n/a cars are actually more susceptible to temperature and altitude changes than turbo'd ones.
