Just get in the car, and familiarize yourself with the way everything works; lights, parking brake, turn signals, etc. Then adjust your mirrors and adjust your seat.
After this, make sure to yell, "ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO!" Mash the gas, pull out into the traffic without looking, and take the instructor for the ride of his life.

Yeah I made sure I turned my head everytime i checked mirrors, as it turned out we didn't even parrallel park! haha
