G35 = reformed business man car with a flare for luxury, style, and some perfomance.
STi = youthful extreme boy racer that is fun to drive but not something I would take to a ballroom event.

i disagree-

i would take mine to a "ballroom" event just because of that fact that no one else would. actually, i'm 28 . . not sure if i really know what a ballrooom event is.

Nah the Sti is def not a ballroom event car. The rear seats are small...you need room to manuever if you are wearing a ballroom gown. The G35 has that ablility. Despite the fact that I would rather be driving, I wouldnt complain about riding in the back of the G35...the seats recline.

I beg to differ.......

I don't know why the G35 has a better 60-0 braking. It is kind of funny too that for a " luxury car" the G35 is only slightly quieter than the sti at full throttle. huh?

Sorry, I reread your post and you said sport sedan.

No win for the skidpad but the Slalom is awesome. Must have stabilty control and traction control i guess.

i'd go for the AWD g35...you have enough power on tap and the AWD platform. the STi is an awesome car, but i sometimes wish my impreza had more insulation and more luxurious accomodations....guess i must be getting old.

i'd go for the g35x, but that's just me.

No one age 19 deserves any of the cars mentioned. Start small, with something that you can fix up and work on. If you get a supercar right out of the gate (especially a $38k one) what will you have to look forward to when you get older?

He will have even nicer cars to look forward to. If you can afford it, parents help or whatever go for it. Make sure the car works for you and not you for the car. As far as choosing the only way to decide is to drive both and see which one feels better/ more natural to be behind the wheel of.

1st of all age has (IMO) some bearing on whether or not someone deserves a car. just because i am 28 would not warrant the fact that i am responsible enough to drive the sti that i am. yes(according to statistics) age is important but i know of a lot of supposedly "mature" people that do not deserve to drive the cars they do. my advice for young people is that if they want a performance car might as well go for the one with an awesome saftety record. and AWD is nice to. u gotta figure subaru has to be the best in it... they've been doing it almost 30 years.
