I used to enjoy watching speed all the time but it seems like its been taken over by rednecks making left turns. This has probably been posted before but i havent seen it yet so im going to talk about what their doing wrong. First off that terrible show with funk master flex makes me wanna shoot myself. My dad used to own a 69' Z28 camaro (a little cliche as far as muscle cars go but it was a beauty) and when i watch them destroy beautiful muscle cars like that it makes me so sad. Why cant they do that to escalades or honda's!?!? Funk has no clue what muscle cars are about, he cant even name half of the engines that are in those monsters. I can bet you he wouldnt know what engine was in pontiacs super duty(1963')? Well Funk its a 421 like all hotrod pontiacs got in those days! Those cars were not built to be given big tacky wheels and interiors that resemble strip clubs. Im a car fan who enjoys any type of car except nascar. I'd also like to see Pinks pulled off the air. What a lame show, theres way more trash talking than actual racing and why do they have that guy start the race when theirs a christmas tree right behind him!?!?!? I'd like to see shows focus more on performance on a somewhat practical level. I mean it is called SPEED after all and i dont think Funk could even do a burnout (though hes got a 400hp RWD beast at his hands he perfers to "low ride" because hes lame)

I use to be a fan of speed but they've sold out to "what's hot" as people call it. I love it how they say "Speed, get you fix 24/7" when Oxyclean and Body by Jake are on after 1am.

I agree with you on the muscle car shows, they get guys/ ugly *** girls to come in and host but, don't know a thing about cars. A girl who know's what a torque wrench is used for, turns me on more than some bimbo blond who laughs all the time. I find it very boring to watch some guy explain what this and that part is all show long when they could be doing something else.

All the import shows are dumb, it's always kids who are more into girls than cars, so they "build" some POS rice to get girls to come over and pose for them. And they show drifting wayyyyy to much. Yes it's cool but, can the host name one driver?

Oh and you said something about pinks, it's supposed to be a legal street race. Hence the reason why they go by the drop of the hands. I kinda watch it but it would be better if they cut all the talk and just did heads up.

And that new show Superbikes is rice. Typical plot, guys who talk's technical and the other makes and fool of himself in front of girls.

 

I watch HP TV on Spike, but they're all reruns.
