rx-8 versus wrx

WRX is not a competitor to the RX8 due to price difference.
More like comparing these three due to price range:
WRX STI: 300hp/300lb-ft, Awd, brembos, forged wheels, hid
lights,top model=31.5K
350Z: 287hp/274lb-ft,Rwd, brembos, alloy wheels, hid
lights,top model=36K
RX8: 238hp/159lb-ft,Rwd, stock brakes, alloy wheels,
hid lights,top model=32K
You decide.

the prices may be different but the ride comfort of the wrx and rx-8 are MUCH better than the sti (or evo). the 350z is nice, but its bland engine and lack of 4 seats ruin it
and by ruin it...I mean for my purposes

RX8 is just straight up ugly, they should have left the suicide doors to cars that could actually pull it off, like a full size muscle car from the 50's. The engine received some award for best engine this year, but I think Mazda rigged the jury if it has heating problems as previously stated. If someone wanted a four door sports car, the WRX has real back doors
My family is considering a 350z convertible, so I'm obviously biased to wrx and Z. Has anyone heard about Z reliability or quality control problems?
IMHO, all these cars are hot and fast, but wrx is still the smart and practical choice.

imprezas and evos can easily surpass many cars with simple bolt ons. the 350 is more luxury, if u bolt on an exhaust, they did a dyno on the 350z with exhaust, it only gained about 2 hp. turbo cars have the big advantage of gains. basically, the imprezas and evos in america, are restricted down to small piping with cats all over to hold down the beast which came from japan, in japan the stock wrx and sti's and evos, come faster and more hp stock, thats because they dont restrict the piping compared to the usdm, since japan's pollution is less, cause they are small island, smog doesnt settle in japan like it does here.
i saw a pic of the Mazdaspeed RX-8 in SCC and that i would buy for the look. The mazdaspeed RX-8 is a beautiful car by standards of myself and many friends. But I wouldnt buy a Mazda unless it had an aftermarket following like christianity.
Mazdas are priced well and look and feel great, the replacement parts however, are astonishingly high compared to most other cars. My teacher who is VERY credible has known many guys that have worked at Mazda dealerships. They have all told him at one tie or another that the OEM replacement parts ARE inflated as hell.
Thats why i wouldnt buy a Mazda.
As for the S2000, yes I AM a honda lover, and the S2K does have its share of minor problems but I've driven many and they have always put a smile on my face. But the S2000 for me would be a toy driven when it is sunny and i dont have many parts to pick up. It would be a TOY, but a FUN TOY.
The Subaru WRX is by far the car that i could drive EVERY DAY. Im not saying that I cant drive an S2K every day either, but space considerations are very different in both cars, especially when we're talking about the wagon that I want.
FAST(12 sec fast-even in the turns),
CIVIL(Praxis civil for all-around performance, soft or hard)
LOOKS(just look at pix of whtstr's wagon that im trying to buy)
and the driveability for every day.
I'm sold on all three, but they'd be
-2003 WRX wagon (whtstr's)
-Honda S2000 (ALL MOTOR)
-Mazdaspeed RX-8 (only driven every so often/show car?)
