RB26DEtt in Supra *Sleeper PICs*
Anyone seen the Supra from Top Secret of Japan? They have an RB26DETT in a Supra, Pretty sweet, it has all these JGTC difusers and what not. From what I hear, the RB has a lower Centre of Gravity and is slimmer thus able to fit more junk in.

top secret made 2 supras with the RB motor in it...the first one they did still holds the record for 0-300 kmh in a street car...(as in how fast it got to 300 kmh) I've got the "new" one on one of my option videos...I like the white paint job...a little dif. from there usual gold color.
when i read the title i thought the first thing that came in mind was the top secret supra with the rb26dett....
its a tuners world, both motors are practically the same and share very simliar setups and are held as very strong reliable blocks to tune for.

Not really. Both blocks can support 1000+ hp bone stock. I suppose the 2JZ might actually have a higher reliable limit, but when the 'weak' motor can ahndle that much... not much of an issue really.

Personally I would take the RB26 just for the weight savings, but htat's mostly because it fits a lot of Nissan RWD chassis, and Toyota doesn't leave us with a lot of RWD options. Plus, I think you're a bit biased mr. revolution2zz.

it seems to me in japan anything goes. people will do something cool just for the sake of it being cool or bad ***. i think americans are just too cheap sometimes to take on cool stuff. at least the nissan guys get a little crazy here in the states (i.e. jspec z32 vg30dett into a 240z or 510) as far as that supra goes from what i understand the rb is a little lighter and does sit a little lower, but who the hell cares its still badass
