Pulled up 2 RX8

Blue, looked like it was just off the lot today. Of course the guy driveing it looked like your prototypical (i want to look young, so I bought a sports car) guy. The Car was electric blue. One thing stood out though, looking from the rear quarter panel forward, it has that floating front wheel look. Kinda' like a prowler. Any body else seen any around?

Seen a few around, they are pretty cool but don't make enough horsepower for my taste.

The RX-8 looks SO much better in person than in pictures. Did you ask the dude whether he's trading his car back in due to the misstated horsepower rating?

Their claims went from 250 -> 247 -> 238. Even that is high from what the dynos have been showing after drivetrain loss, probably just barely within the 5% "allowed" margin of error.

i would be way more concerned with the lack of torque than the horsepower. 159lbs/ft....what happened to the rest of it? i hope the rx7 will make more when they bring it back.

I saw a blue one by my house it looked very very nice... I'm sure the aftermarket will find ways to extort power from the new rotory just look at the 350z parts lineup.... It's a nice car for sure.
