at the risk of offending some people I am of the opinion that puting an STI spioler on a regular WRX is no different than puting Type-R badges on you run of the mill RSX, Integra, NSX or what ever else it may be.

It is frequesntly done in concert with say STI badges and look alike wheel...

i think, for something to count as rice, it has to be an import (honda or acura, cause i havn't seen many ricers driving anything else), has to have neons...and definately a coffee-can exhaust...oh! and don't forget the whale tale!...lol

Wow, you are a bunch of freakin idiots! We've been begging to get true performance cars here in the states for years and now you're calling it rice??? I guess being anti-rice is the new trendy bandwagon huh? STi is a parts manufacturer owned by Subaru... like Mopar, Nismo, Mugen... to say that putting STi parts on a non-STi is the same as rebadging a non-Type-R model Honda is asinine. Prodrive121 you're a tool. I can't believe the number of Subaru owners *****ing and moaning about cars that old-schoolers (like myself) fought so damn hard to get. All this slamming on the SR-T neon, ha! It is a faster car than the WRX both in a straight line and in handling plus it will beat a stock STi from a roll... Dodge beat us, get over it. To those that say the Neon is a POS, you've never followed SCCA or NASA auto-x/road racing have you? The Neon is always at the head of the pack, as is the Protege. I seriously think you folks need to do your freaking homework before you put your foot in your mouths any more. Ohhhh, the WRX is ugly, ohhh the STi's badges are pink ewwww, get a grip people. Keep this up and we'll be left with L-models, HF civics, etc.

Honda makes legit type R people buy the badges and wheels to make there regular accord or civic look like a type r

If you have a regular WRX and you buy sti badges, wheels, and wing, not manifolds coilovers etc. to make it look like the 300/300 car it is not I think its the same you think im wrong thats ok
