13 is an A class MB diesel. they're HUGE in germany, even though they're little tiny things. i know its kinda the odd duck in this company (Kimmi's and Fangio's F1 cars...) but i'd never seen one before. they're actually not much bigger than a Mini!

 

When I was in London in June I saw a few A-class'. They actually are really cool cars. If they sold them here I would probably buy one if the price was right for a daily driver.

 

the A classes that i saw in Germany were going for about E25,000 which would be about US$30k. i little pricey for a runabout, but it is a Benz.

 

Ahh....that brings back memories. Its been a full 10 years now since I've been in that building, but the memories are still strong. Religious gearhead experience.

 

Kimi Raikkonen has been my favorite F1 driver since Mika left the sport. That's very cool that you were able to get so close to so many great cars.

before i got there, i was really hoping that they'd have an F1 car on display. i was pleasantly suprised when i walked into find that there was Kimi's old chassis sitting there, not 100m from the front foor. it was neat to see some of the older silver arrows too. i think i took more pictures in the mecedes museum than i did on the whole rest of the trip.

 

5 looks kinda weird, like something that you would see in a scifi movie.

 

the benz in pic number five holds the world speed record for a public roadway, at something like 250mph.
