Nice man your bug came out clean!! I have had a 72 super beetle conv. for a few years now and have done lots of work to mine as well including the auto stick to manual conversion, 1641, roller rockers, lowering kit in front ect. but last october after i got all the work done that i was going to do for a while a woman T-boned me and messed up my driver side a bit but the frame is still straight, man it pisses me off!!! Im actually selling mine right noww on craigslist. I have a pic of it on my profile.

I went and checked out the car yesterday. It looks MUCH better in the pics than it does in person 
Needs body work, paint, interior, even the rag top is gunna need an over haul.
I told him good luck getting anything close to 4500 for it. I sold mine in great condition for 4300.

My 69 was in the same shape as his when i bought mine and paid $800 for it. Thats why i said i wouldnt pay more than $1500 for the ragtop in the condition.
Crazy because the rear oval windows are pretty rare to find and i found that one i posted earlier. Then yesterday ANOTHER one popped up on craigslist. It was 100% restored and they were asking like $10,000 for it! Whats even crazier is that the listing is already gone

1960 Chopped Rag Top VW Bug, good running good breaks and tires. I was told when I purchased it it had a 1915cc engine, it has pleanty of power. The chop was done years ago in Colorado. I have had it a couple of years. now I'm ready to sell. Gets lots of looks, but it's not a show car by any means, just a fun unique car. Interesting trades considered, 4 wheeler jet ski, high end vintage stereo. 5900 OBO
