Lame!
The Demon was never a roadster, how can they do this! Hopefully they will offer a solid roof version.
As a previous owner of a Mopar A-body I am very displeased. It doesn't even look good.

yes, the Caliber is junk, but right now Dodge has no small (and affordable) sports car in their line up. Hopefully this one wont be factory roced out like the SRT-4's even though an SRT version would be called "SRT-4"

I know there is no love here for the SRT-4. Except me, the ex-ACR guy. But, DCX blew it big-time when they gave up the "high HP. low price" package they were marketing. They turned a perfectly good "beginner's/low budget" pocket rocket into that bloated POS known as Caliber. My Neon was all I could afford when I was first staring out with the mortagage, kid, taxes, bills, grownup, thing.
Now they are trying to build a Miata fighter with the Demon. They have no chance in Hel*. Japanese fit and finish compared to DCX plastic crap. It'll never happen. The Demon has and will become a "chick car" for proud daddys to buy for their 16 year old daughters. They are ruining their own heritage at DCX. Or is Daimler trying to bury them and sell them off? Who knows.
The only thing I will continue to buy from them is trucks to tow my Japanese/German cars behind.
I don't see where all of these roadsters are going; Miata, Solstice, Sky...Demon. Not to mention higher-end models like the Z4 and S2000. Nissan and Mini have plans for some too...
Is there really room for 10 different mid-level roadsters in the US market?

I kinda like it, and I'm glad to see that Dodge is thinking about a smaller rear-drive performance car... but yeah the name isn't right. They are doing what they did in the 80's and recycling the names of previously great muscle cars.
Also it kinda looks like a viper had an orgy with an S2000, a 350Z convertible, and a Crossfire...
